Cynosure Launches Official SmartLipo Patient Site

SmartLipo, known by physicians and patients as the gold standard in laser lipo, has just launched www.smartlipocynosure.com, a site for patients to learn about the technology and the advantages it offers. The site features before and after photos as well as patient testimonials and medical information.

American Health & Beauty discussed body sculpting with Denver SmartLipo provider Dr. John Millard. The key difference between laser lipo technologies and traditional liposuction is the use of laser energy to melt the fat before it is removed. This allows for greater precision in fat removal and better sculpting capabilities. The second key difference is the skin tightening capabilities of laser lipo devices, and specifically SmartLipo. What: Facelifts, liposuction, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, laser 
resurfacing

Clients: While Lone Tree is known as an affluent area, the majority of 
patients make less than $90,000 per year. “It makes it a little easier 
for them to afford, but you’d be surprised. A significant number of our 
patients actually finance,” he said.

Charitable work: Broadway has traveled with Operation Smile to China, 
Thailand, Colombia, the Philippines, Ecuador and Russia to perform 
surgery on children and adults with cleft palates. His most memorable 
moment was treating a mother and daughter who both had facial 
deformities. Broadway is now organizing a surgery donation day to 
benefit earthquake victims in Haiti.

Business steady: Despite the depressed economy, business is booming for 
Broadway’s team of doctors. Since moving the practice from Centennial 
to Lone Tree in 2008, they have performed more than 1,200 surgeries. D
