Greg Ptacek - Publicist
Greg Ptacek has directed public relations and marketing campaigns for some of the world’s most innovative corporate brands including The Walt Disney Studio, Microsoft, Fox, Yahoo, Miramax, HP and Priceline.
Formerly a staff writer for The Hollywood Reporter, Ptacek is also an award-winning nonfiction book author with titles published by William Morrow, Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins and John Wiley & Sons. Among these was the bestselling “Age Right: Turn Back the Clock with a Proven, Personalized, Anti-Aging Program,” co-authored with UCLA physician Karlis Ullis, M.D. Previously, he served as Editor of City Sports Magazine in Los Angeles.
As a public relations executive for several Hollywood studios, he supervised publicity for more than 75 motion pictures, including “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “City Slickers,” “The Player,” “Bullets Over Broadway,” “Like Water for Chocolate,” “The Crow,” “Red-White-Blue” and the 25th anniversary re-release of “The Graduate.”
He is formerly the Director of the Motion Picture Group for Rogers & Cowan Public Relations, and Director of Corporate Communications for the American Film Market.
